Remedy Entertainment has released its latest quarterly financial report, yet the much-anticipated Max Payne 1&2 Remake remains conspicuously absent from the update.
It has now been a full year since we received any meaningful news regarding the title, despite the project having been in active full-scale production for nearly two years. Given the Finnish studio’s typical development cycles, this milestone often suggests that a project is steadily approaching its final stages.
Nevertheless, a reveal in the current calendar year appears improbable. Rockstar Games, which holds the responsibility for the official unveiling of the game, is currently dedicating its full resources to the rollout of GTA 6. Consequently, it is highly likely that the remakes will not see a release until 2027 at the earliest.
