Following a whirlwind of accolades during the latter half of 2025, Ninajirachi has emerged revitalized and ready for her next chapter.

Featured on the premiere episode of Odyssey TV, which launched this week, the Australian electronic producer, vocalist, and songwriter demonstrates she is fully prepared for the global stage.

Ninajirachi, born Nina Wilson, is coming off an exceptionally successful awards season where nearly every nomination resulted in a win. Within just a few months, she secured multiple ARIA Awards, J Awards, the Australian Music Prize, and the NSW Music Prize for breakthrough artist—all driven by the impact of her debut LP, I Love My Computer. Most recently, she claimed second place in the 2025 Vanda & Young Global Songwriting Competition for her track “iPod Touch.”

“I took a brief hiatus over the New Year to reflect. I realized I was still processing milestones from July and August because everything happened so fast for the first time. I feel fantastic now,” she shared with host Roxy Lola.

Emboldened by her recent experiences, she added: “I’ve had plenty of practice and I’m eager to perform a million more shows.” She is already making good on that promise. The rising star is currently navigating a multi-week tour across the United States, which will be followed by performances in Asia, the U.K., and Europe. Her packed schedule also includes a heavy festival circuit, highlighted by her debut appearance at Coachella.

During her Odyssey TV exclusive, Ninajirachi delved into her most “gratifying” songwriting moment—the creation of “F—My Computer,” which she revealed took a mere 20 minutes. She also chatted about her favorite gaming pastimes, specifically Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Darkness, and discussed how she overcame her initial hesitations regarding her own singing voice.

“I just want to keep this momentum going,” she told Lola. “It’s an incredible experience; I’m genuinely having the time of my life.”

Odyssey TV is a new venture from Odyssey Sound Space, a platform for curated playlists and podcasts led by editor, music curator, and DJ Roxy Lola. This interview series, which Lola refers to as “time capsules,” will debut new episodes fortnightly, highlighting six of the most compelling artists currently emerging from the Australian music scene.

“I wanted to engage with today’s breakthrough talent in a candid setting,” Lola explained. “I met these artists in environments where they felt at ease, allowing for organic, effortless conversations about their creative process and their current career trajectories.”

What began in 2022 as a niche playlist project has rapidly evolved, expanding into the Odyssey Sound Sessions podcast in 2023 and now into original video content.
