Nicki Minaj and Nas Drop New Tracy Chapman-Sampling Song “Sorry”: Listen

Leading as much as the discharge of her new album Queen, Nicki Minaj pushed again the album’s release date after publicly asking Tracy Chapman to clear a pattern. Now, Nicki has shared the tune individually from the album. “Sorry” options Nas and closely borrows from Shelly Thunder’s “Sorry,” which in flip interpolates Tracy Chapman’s “Baby Can I Hold You.” Listen beneath. On Twitter, Nicki wrote, “Sis said no ??‍♀️,” seemingly referring to Chapman.

Queen options the singles “Rich Sex” (that includes Lil Wayne), “Bed” (that includes Ariana Grande), and “Chun-Li.” It additionally contains contributions from the Weeknd, Foxy Brown, tourmate Future, Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee, Eminem, and others. Nas’ Kanye-produced album, Nasir, arrived in June.
