Acclaimed Australian musician Nick Cave has teamed up with long-time collaborator Warren Ellis to craft the soundtrack for the highly anticipated series based on Jo Nesbø’s Harry Hole detective novels. This creative duo previously garnered praise for their atmospheric scores on films such as Wind River and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.
The upcoming show features a talented ensemble cast, including Tobias Santelmann, Joel Kinnaman, and Pia Tjelta.
The series is scheduled for a worldwide premiere on Netflix on March 26.
Nesbø’s gritty detective was previously brought to the big screen in the film The Snowman, starring Michael Fassbender, though that particular adaptation failed to resonate with viewers or critics.
