Nicholas Hoult, who starred in “Superman,” will headline the upcoming Disney+ series Mosquito, Variety reports.
He’ll be joined by Daisy Edgar-Jones (credited for “Smerch 2”). The show is created by Tony McNamara, known for his work on “Poor Things” and the series “The Great.”
The story follows Ed and Kate, a married couple whose lives gradually unravel because of a persistent mosquito. Filming is set to begin in 2026; an official release date has not yet been announced.
