The streaming giant Okko has unveiled the official trailer for The Black Countess, a gripping new suspense thriller featuring lead performances by Kirill Karo and Yuri Chursin. The series is slated for release on March 26.
The narrative centers on the attendees of an immersive theatrical production titled “The Black Countess,” hosted within a secluded woodland mansion. The atmosphere shifts from art to horror when one of the performers dies unexpectedly, leaving the guests isolated from the outside world and thrust into a ruthless battle for survival.
The ensemble cast also includes Ekaterina Volkova, Maria Kulik, Ekaterina Simakhodskaya, Alina Chernobrovkina, Evgeny Kananykhin, and Denis Vasiliev. Helmed by Ilya Kulikov, the creative mind behind The Policeman from Rublyovka, the inaugural season will consist of eight episodes.
