Zendaya has reached a new milestone in her storied career as Madame Tussauds New York unveiled a breathtaking wax figure of the multifaceted star on Wednesday, January 7. This latest addition to the iconic Times Square destination cements her status as a global fashion and entertainment powerhouse.
The figure is a meticulously crafted recreation of the Euphoria star, captured in the striking black two-piece ensemble she donned during a Dune: Part Two fan event in Mexico City back in February 2024. In a nod to her personal life, the artisans at Madame Tussauds included a replica of her signature horizontal oval diamond ring—a detail that hints at her relationship with Tom Holland, despite the two not being officially engaged at the time of the original red carpet appearance.
A Lasting Impact on Pop Culture
Tiago Mogadouro, the general manager of Madame Tussauds New York, praised the star’s influence during the reveal. “Zendaya has solidified her position as one of the most recognizable and revered icons of our time,” Mogadouro stated. “This figure serves as a definitive tribute to her enduring contributions to both the cinematic landscape and the world of high fashion.”
This isn’t Zendaya’s first time being immortalized in wax. Over a decade ago, in 2015, the Golden Globe winner actively participated in the creation of two previous figures, sitting for hundreds of precise measurements. Those statues were eventually housed in the San Francisco and Orlando locations. At the time, the Bay Area native expressed her excitement, calling the honor a “major” career highlight and joking about having “twins” in her home state.
A Landmark Year Ahead
The unveiling comes as Zendaya prepares for a monumental 2026. Fans are eagerly anticipating the third season of Euphoria, where she will return not only as the lead but also as a musical collaborator, following her successful work with Labrinth. Her silver screen presence will be equally dominant; she is set to star alongside Robert Pattinson in The Drama this April, followed by a lead role as Athena in Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated epic, The Odyssey, arriving in July.
The new figure is now on display for the public in Manhattan. You can view the stunning craftsmanship of the new Zendaya wax statue in the post below.
