Egor Abramenko, the filmmaker behind the sci-fi thriller Sputnik, has announced his next directorial effort, titled Soon You Will Be Dead and Probably Eaten. The film is set to star Sophie Wilde, who rose to prominence in the horror sensation Talk to Me. Based on a science fiction short story by Nick Antosca, the script was developed by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski, the writing duo known for the 2022 Hellraiser reimagining.
The narrative follows a young couple as they journey into a remote mountain range to celebrate their nuptials. However, the secluded ceremony takes a dark turn when uninvited guests disrupt the proceedings.
Production on the feature is scheduled to commence this spring.
