Quick, hurry to the particular bell: a brand new Overwatch hero has been introduced. Baptiste is his title, and therapeutic folks is his game. Also killing folks, as a result of that is an FPS and naturally everybody does that.
He’s a fight medic with a tragic previous, as you’re about to study in his origin video. There are not any onerous particulars on his talents simply but. Only orphans and terrorism.
Bappy-T misplaced his mother and father within the Omnic conflict (together with 30 million different kids, yikes) then joined Talon, Overwatch’s Over-baddies. He left when he realised that was not a implausible factor to do, and now fights for justice and all that jazz. Like so.
So, we all know he’s a supporty-shooty man. Everything else is guesswork, so let’s do a few of that.
A teaser for Baptiste really appeared earlier this week, within the type of a letter written by Captain Cuerva. They have been accountable for pursuing the strike group Baptiste bailed on. After a little bit of banter about how nice it will be if he went again to being a terrorist, there comes this:
“I know better than to underestimate Baptiste. I helped train him myself, and he was one of our best. I’ve never known a medic to be such a good shot, and his adaptability to new situations is a rare talent. All of us have seen our fair share of conflict, but Baptiste was built to survive. I swear he has the Devil’s own luck.”
Clues! “Adaptability to new situations” suggests… nicely, it suggests numerous issues. A mobility capability? Some type of stance switching? Being “built to survive” may discuss with a capability that lets him tank up, and I’d be stunned if the “Devil’s own luck” bit doesn’t discuss with his final by some means. Dunno how although. My hypothesis cup runneth dry.
I shouldn’t have to attend lengthy. There have been only some days between when the final hero was introduced and when she appeared on the check servers.
