New Modes Coming to the Remaster of 90s Platformer Croc: Legend of the Gobbos
The classic 3D platformer Croc: Legend of the Gobbos returns refreshed. After the remaster released in the first half of 2025, the developers have prepared an upgraded Platinum Edition featuring additional content and refinements.
On October 16, 2025 the game will arrive on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Argonaut Games has added a Time Attack mode, 16 new achievements, and a new Platinum trophy for Sony consoles. The release also includes 25 entries in the “Crocopedia”, selectable musical mixes for the main theme, and a variety of polish and quality improvements.
Updates for Switch, Xbox One and GOG will be delivered as patches. Steam users will, for the first time, get access to the game through the Platinum Edition. PS4 and PS5 owners will be able to choose which version to download — the original release or the new Platinum Edition.
