The year 2026 is shaping up to be a landmark period for the Kingdom Hearts community. Between the upcoming comprehensive game collection, fresh reveals for the long-awaited Kingdom Hearts 4, and persistent rumors surrounding a Fortnite collaboration, fans have plenty to track. Now, there is another major event to mark on the calendar: a dedicated “deep dive” panel at Disney’s biennial celebration, D23.
On Monday, Disney unveiled the official agenda for “The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.” Among the highlights, enthusiasts can look forward to a session titled “Deep Dive into Kingdom Hearts” scheduled for Saturday, August 15. The official event description promises an immersive journey through the series’ legacy, celebrating a quarter-century of Kingdom Hearts. Attendees will explore how the saga successfully bridged the worlds of Disney, Pixar, and Square Enix, featuring exclusive insights from the creative team, voice talent, and the architects behind the series.
This deep dive session is slated for the D23 Backlot Stage, sharing the spotlight with presentations on the Disney Lorcana trading card game, the hit animated series Bob’s Burgers, and the highly anticipated feature film based on Bluey.
