A brand new John Prine documentary has been picked up by Sony Pictures Classic, as Variety stories. Tentatively titled John Prine: Hello In There, the documentary tells the story of Prine’s journey as a singer-songwriter, and started filming him through the lead-up to his 2018 album Tree of Forgiveness, his first album of recent music in 13 years. In addition to segments that includes Prine, the movie is about to incorporate interviews with relations in addition to artists like Margo Price, Jason Isbell, and Sturgill Simpson. A launch date has but to be introduced.
