Paramount Pictures is currently preparing the fifth entry in the “Jackass” franchise for its upcoming release. The film is scheduled to hit screens on June 26 of this year.
Series co-creator Johnny Knoxville is confirmed to return for the project, though specific plot details are currently being kept under wraps.
The “Jackass” phenomenon originally debuted on MTV in the early 2000s, centered around a series of increasingly perilous and life-threatening stunts. To date, the franchise has spawned four feature-length films, which have collectively grossed over $571 million at the global box office.
