According to his reports, the narrative will center on the son of the legendary Captain Jack Sparrow (portrayed by Johnny Depp) alongside a new female protagonist played by Margot Robbie. The screenplay is currently being penned by Academy Award nominee Krysty Wilson-Cairns, acclaimed for her work on “1917.” Disney has yet to issue an official statement regarding these claims.
