Myles Smith Performs “Nice to Meet You” at the “Love Is Blind” Reunion — Watch

Myles Smith furthered his U.S. momentum by performing his single “Nice to Meet You” on the Season 9 reunion of Love Is Blind, which aired on Netflix on Wednesday, Oct. 29.

Introduced by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, Smith energized the stage with a stomping, clap-driven anthem backed by a full live band as the Season 9 cast took their seats and listened to the rousing opener.

The British singer shared a TikTok that captured season 7 contestant Taylor Krause joining him onstage for the number. Krause — who became engaged to Garrett Joseman on the show — also posted a lighthearted TikTok with Smith. View the TikTok.

Smith will no doubt hope to emulate the post-reunion surge experienced by Season 8 performer Alex Warren, whose track “Ordinary” climbed to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 after his reunion appearance in March.

Love Is Blind executive producer Ally Simpson told People that the success of the previous reunion drove robust interest from major labels. She added that with Smith they found the right blend of artist and song for a high-energy opening.

Simpson explained they wanted an exciting, celebratory kickoff for the reunion and felt Smith’s performance and the song’s upbeat spirit fit the bill.

“Nice to Meet You” made initial waves in the U.K. before crossing into the U.S. market. Included on Smith’s 2024 EP A Minute…, the song reached a new peak of No. 62 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated Nov. 1.
