Mumford & Sons announce sixth album “Prizefighter,” reveal collaborators and tracklist
Published Oct. 29, 2025

Mumford & Sons surprised fans on Oct. 29 by announcing their sixth studio album, confirming its title and sharing a full tracklist — along with several notable guest contributors.
Titled Prizefighter, the album is scheduled for release Feb. 13, 2026 via Island Records. The record features an array of collaborators, including Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton, Gigi Perez and Hozier. The band released the record’s thunderous lead single, “Rubber Band Man” (featuring Hozier), on Oct. 24.
The group reunited creatively with Aaron Dessner — who previously worked with them on their 2015 LP Wilder Mind — bringing him on as co-producer and co-writer for Prizefighter. Much of the album was shaped at Dessner’s Long Pond Studio in upstate New York alongside Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett and Ted Dwane.
Marcus Mumford described the record as a moment of renewed energy for the band, saying they feel more confident and focused than ever. He framed Prizefighter as both earnest and playful, sometimes bruised but ultimately hopeful — a reflection of a band eager to keep building on its creative momentum.
The announcement also comes ahead of a 22-date U.K. and European fall tour that begins at Stockholm’s Avicii Arena on Nov. 6 and wraps with two nights at London’s O2 Arena on Dec. 10–11.
Mumford & Sons’ previous full-length, Rushmere, was released March 28 and marked the band’s first album as a trio following Winston Marshall’s departure in 2021. Rushmere reached No. 1 on the Official U.K. Albums Chart and climbed to No. 19 on the Billboard 200. Earlier chart-topping U.K. albums include Babel (2012) and Wilder Mind; Sigh No More (2009) and Delta (2018) both peaked at No. 2 in the U.K.
