During a stream post-announcement, he elaborated on his choice, mentioning a decline in his enthusiasm for the game and a wish to devote his time to content that genuinely inspires him.
MrSavage, a prominent figure in the Fortnite community, has been a formidable competitor for seven years and even participated in Fortnite’s inaugural ‘Solo Showdown’ tournament back in 2018. Nevertheless, he confessed that the competitive grind no longer provides the thrill it once did, noting that he hasn’t “been having as much fun.” He intends to pivot towards streaming and crafting compelling content instead.
Even as he steps back from competitive gaming, MrSavage assured his fans that this is not the conclusion of his Fortnite adventure, sharing, “I just want to stream, I just want to have fun streaming.” This signifies a significant transition in his career, but with an established reputation in the community, it’s evident that MrSavage will continue to prosper under his new direction.
