The upcoming Mortal Kombat film reboot shall be an R-rated image.
What’s extra, screenwriter Greg Russo confirmed that the collection’ iconic Fatality ending strikes shall be seen within the upcoming Mortal Kombat film, although Russo didn’t trace as to which of the various Fatalities shall be filmed.
Russo revealed these particulars on Twitter, telling followers that he wished to place rumours to mattress.
Since it is already been said by different members of the workforce, I’m gonna put this one to mattress. MK WILL be R-Rated and for the primary time EVER, FATALITIES will FINALLY be on the large display (and no I’m not gonna say which of them) You’ll simply have to attend for the film & see!!! 😉 pic.twitter.com/aVTewH4t28

The film doesn’t but have a full title, however we do know production has officially kicked off. It’s produced by Fast 7 and Aquaman’s James Wan, and set for launch in March 2021.
Although the unique Mortal Kombat film is beloved, most of its motion scenes had been tame on account of the PG-13 ranking. Mortal Kombat is a violent, absurdly bloody collection, so hopefully going for an R ranking means – on the very least – the fights shall be genuine to the games.
