London’s legendary electronic temple, the Ministry of Sound, is gearing up to commemorate its landmark 35th anniversary with an immersive, weekend-long celebration, Billboard U.K. can exclusively announce.

Spanning the weekend of October 2–3, the iconic venue will host an elite roster of electronic music royalty, including Andy C, Kerri Chandler, Moodymann, and Loco Dice. Passes for the landmark festivities are currently available via Dice.fm.

Kicking off the weekend on Friday night, Louder—the club’s longest-running residency—takes over the space. In a monumental return, drum-and-bass pioneer Andy C will grace the London stage for the first time in a decade, treating crowds to a sprawling, three-hour masterclass.

The celebrations continue into Saturday daytime courtesy of influential imprint Hard Times. The showcase unites two true titans of house music: New York deep-house trailblazer Kerri Chandler and visionary Detroit selector Moodymann, performing during a highly anticipated daytime session.

As night falls on October 3, Urge—the venue’s flagship underground house and techno showcase—takes center stage, anchored by acclaimed Tunisian-German producer and DJ Loco Dice. Additional artist announcements are expected in the coming months.

“Few venues get to celebrate 35 years at the heart of dance music. We wanted to mark this milestone with a lineup that reflects both our heritage and where our sound is today. It’s an honor to celebrate this anniversary with such incredible talent, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you all.”

— Matt Long, Club Director

This milestone weekender is just the latest chapter in the institution’s year-long anniversary commemorations. The club recently published an exhaustive retrospective coffee-table book, Ministry of Sound: Anthology, chronicling the untold history of the space, alongside the launch of Boxed In, an innovative live-streamed talent competition designed to spotlight breakthrough DJs. Furthermore, the brand will make its triumphant return to Ibiza with an exclusive, one-off showcase at 528, marking their first Balearic island event in over ten years.

First opening its doors in London’s Elephant & Castle district back in September 1991, the venue fundamentally transformed the trajectory of British club culture. Over three decades later, the Ministry of Sound Group has blossomed into a multifaceted entertainment empire, encompassing an influential record label, a dynamic publishing division, and an exclusive private members’ club.
