Creed star Michael B. Jordan has confirmed that a new spin-off from the franchise is being developed as a television series.
The project will center on the protagonist’s daughter, Amara, who is hard of hearing. In the third film she was portrayed by actress Mila Davis-Kent. The series was first reported in 2023. Read more.
“We are continuing to develop the series about Adonis [Creed]’s daughter, Amara, with Amazon’s support. You will see different facets of the Creed universe. These projects will help keep the world alive, but it won’t rest entirely on me. I’ll be watching from the sidelines,” Jordan told Variety.
He also confirmed that a fourth Creed film is underway. The franchise launched in 2015; three films have been released so far and they have collectively grossed $664 million worldwide.
