Metro Rivals: New York — “Arcade Subway Simulator” Announced
The game is scheduled to launch in 2026 on PC and consoles.
Dovetail Games, a studio known for its catalogue of simulation titles, has revealed its newest endeavor — the arcade-style subway simulator Metro Rivals: New York. The title is being developed for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a planned release in 2026.
Combining our extensive knowledge of rail systems with the creativity and expertise of our development teams — and harnessing Unreal Engine 5 features like Lumen, Nanite and procedural generation — we’re confident this game will offer players a deeply immersive experience, both in single-player and in our inaugural multiplayer mode centered on trains.
Metro Rivals is a bold fusion of strategy, simulation and narrative-driven action — a game where speed and skill matter just as much as careful tactical planning.
