2020 is approaching its end and as at the end of the year, many institutes offer their Top 10 of the best of the last 12 months. It is obviously a question of cinema, music, literature and in our case of video games. On the referring site Metacritic, which brings together all the notes from the specialized press (but also mainstream) obtained in the world in order to obtain an average, it is time to take stock and whatever we say, the latter turns out to be very consistent in its listing. The only problem with the board is that some games have exactly the same score, which makes it difficult to decide between them when it comes to giving them their respective medals. For example, The Last of Us 2, Hades, Half-Life Alyx, and Ori and the Will of the Wisps show their same metascore of 93%. Who is therefore the most legitimate to be placed in second or third position? Similarly, we see that the game Hades appears twice, since it is valued on two platforms: Nintendo Switch + PC. That obviously doesn’t make sense. It is therefore to be taken into account while waiting for our Top 10 of 2020 to us. We have therefore listed the games as they appear on the Metacritic website. On the other hand, the one who proudly sits in 2020 is none other than Persona 5 Royal with its 95% average. Released on March 31, 2020, the title edited by Atlus is an enriched version of the 2017 J-RPG with additional missions and bonuses.
