Megabonk Becomes Mega-Hit on Steam — First Million Copies Sold in Two Weeks
Concepts from Vampire Survivors have been reimagined in a fresh take that many players have embraced.
Megabonk recently launched on PC via Steam. It follows the Vampire Survivors formula but the developer injected humor and transformed the experience into a 3D game with the ability to jump.
Megabonk contains the hallmarks of the Survivors-like genre: a roster of distinct characters, varied weapons and trinkets, and a meta-progression system with quests that unlock additional tools for facing waves of monsters.
The developer celebrated an early milestone: Megabonk sold one million copies within its first two weeks.
