Max Payne Remake Showcase Depends on Rockstar
After studying the documentation, the public learned that the remake of Max Payne 1&2 might be released in the first half of 2026. Now, following the announcement of the delay of the much-anticipated GTA 6, there is speculation that the return of Max Payne could help ease the wait for the main course.
Regarding official information, according to the Remedy report for January-March, development costs have been increased, and it has entered a crucial stage.
Tero Virtala, the head of the Finnish studio, when asked about when players will see the first trailer or teaser, stated that the project’s marketing is in the hands of Rockstar Games. This means that the decision on when to show and release the game will be made in New York.
