The Matthew Herbert Big Band have detailed their new album in response to Brexit. The State Between Us options over 1,000 musicians throughout Europe, and it’s set to be launched on March 29—the day the U.Ok. is scheduled to go away the European Union.
The venture was announced in 2017 and was unveiled as a collaborative venture that celebrated “artistic and musical collaboration and communities across national borders.” The album is credited to the Matthew Herbert Great Britain and Gibraltar European Union Membership Referendum Big Band. In the trailer under, that’s shortened to the Matthew Herbert Brexit Big Band.
Prime Minister Theresa May’s Brexit proposal failed in Parliament tonight, leaving the way forward for Brexit unsure. Following the 432-to-202 vote, Labour Party chief Jeremy Corbyn referred to as for a vote of no confidence in May.
