Gearbox is formally teasing a brand new Borderlands game.
Borderlands sequence developer Gearbox has launched a brand new teaser trailer titled Mask of Mayhem. Though it doesn’t drop the Borderlands Three title outright like we’ve been hoping, it options loads of characters from earlier Borderlands games.
Characters reminiscent of Sir Hammerlock, Ellie, Claptrap and lots of others are all proven. The trailer additionally highlights no less than three new characters, which might tie into the story of the brand new game. All of them mix to make up the eponymous Mask of Mayhem, which we see when the digicam zooms all the best way out close to the tip.
Even if it doesn’t explicitly say Borderlands 3, the trailer does level to the official Borderlands web site. We’re positively getting a Borderlands game, which Gearbox might not find yourself calling Borderlands 3.
