Marvin Gaye’s Lost 1972 Album You’re the Man Set for Release

Motown has introduced the discharge of Marvin Gaye’s scrapped follow-up to 1971 basic What’s Going On. You’re the Man options all of Gaye’s solo and non-soundtrack recordings from 1972. It’s out March 29, 4 days earlier than what would have been Gaye’s 80th birthday on April 2. Listen to album monitor “My Last Chance,” blended by Salaam Remi, beneath.

Of the LP’s 17 songs, solely the title monitor was launched on the time. Most of the songs have by no means been launched on vinyl till now. David Ritz wrote liner notes for the bodily situation.
