Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales: 60fps + Ray-Tracing Now Available On PS5

When the PS5 and Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales released on November 19, Insomniac Games offered two display modes: Quality and Performance. It was therefore necessary to decide between the possibility of having a 4K Ray-tracing rendering but being restricted to 30fps, or then enjoying 60 images per second without the possibility of taking advantage of the reflections on the buildings of New York. It is now over since, thanks to update 1.007, it is possible to take advantage of a third display mode in the game, which obviously only concerns the PS5 version. This new mode, called “Performance RT” allows you to take advantage of 4K, ray-tracing and 60fps. A news that lovers of next-gen experience will welcome with joy and which is made possible thanks to a clever work of the PS5 which adjusts the resolution of the scenes, the quality of the reflections and the density of pedestrians depending on what is happening on the screen.

Finally, to finish, know that the Remaster of the first Marvel’s Spider-Man is also affected by this update which makes the game next gen.
