Decidedly, it is the waltz of delays on the video game side. After Cyberpunk 2077 which postpones all of its content for 2022, Blizzard which pushes back Diablo IV and Overwatch 2, it is the turn of 2K Games and Firaxis to announce the postponement of Marvel’s Midnight Suns initially scheduled for March 2022. As always, the message is to convey that developers need extra time to polish the game, and deliver the best experience they want. Now expected for the second half of 2022, Marvel’s Midnight Suns will undoubtedly face more fierce competition at the end of the year. Will the Marvel license be strong enough to face the usual Christmas behemoths? The question needs to be asked.
