“Marty Supreme” Becomes A24’s Highest-Grossing Film in the US

The sports-themed comedy “Marty Supreme,” starring Timothée Chalamet, has officially reached $80 million at the domestic box office. This milestone cements the film as the highest-grossing title in A24’s history within the United States.

The record was previously held by the Academy Award-winning “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” which earned $77 million stateside. However, the latter remains the studio’s most successful venture on a global scale, with a worldwide total of $142 million.

Produced on an estimated budget of $60–70 million, “Marty Supreme” chronicles the rise of the ambitious table tennis legend Marty Reisman. Directed by Josh Safdie (“Uncut Gems”), the film has garnered significant acclaim, with Chalamet winning both a Golden Globe and a Critics Choice Award for his performance.
