Manticore Knight: Warhammer Quest — Darkwater creators unveil Edmark Valoran miniature

The developers of the board game Warhammer Quest: Darkwater invite players to view an image and a video highlighting the miniature of Edmark Valoran — one of the four principal heroes of the project.

Games Workshop has been gradually sharing more information about the Warhammer Quest: Darkwater tabletop game. Today the studio revealed the miniature of Edmark Valoran, the Manticore Knight.

Valoran considers himself the foremost mortal champion of the armies of Hammerhal Aqsha (Hammerhal Aqsha — the great industrial heart of Sigmar’s empire and a vast metropolis). Despite his hauteur, he arguably has every claim to that honor.

Valoran’s impressive ledger of battlefield triumphs was recently marred by disgrace. In a previous campaign, a chain explosion hurled shards of raw Aqshan realmstone through the hero’s body.

Rather than killing him, the shards drove Valoran into a primal rage that ended with him cutting down not only his enemies but also several comrades who happened to be caught in his path.

The experience left Valoran hardened and withdrawn, prepared to stake everything in a quest for atonement. When his fury peaks, his body bursts into flame, scorching anyone nearby who tries to harm him.
