Mafia: The Omertà Collection Announced
Just hours ahead of its official reveal, vigilant fans spotted ESRB age ratings suggesting upgraded current-gen ports for the acclaimed first-game remake. As it turned out, that leak was merely the tip of the iceberg. Publisher 2K officially unveiled Mafia: The Omertà Collection, a comprehensive anthology uniting all four core chapters of the celebrated crime saga into a single definitive package.
Launch Schedule & Format
The collection rolls out today, August 14, perfectly aligned with the simultaneous release of Mafia: The Old Country — Man of Honor. At launch, the package is distributed exclusively via digital channels. The publisher has made no formal commitment regarding physical boxed copies, and current market shifts suggest a retail disc release is improbable—or at least deferred indefinitely—reflecting the broader transition toward purely digital media.
Pricing & Platform Availability
The bundle is now live across leading digital storefronts (with the notable omission of the Epic Games Store):
The standard retail price is set at $50, subject to regional currency adjustments. Players can take advantage of limited-time introductory launch discounts, which vary by ecosystem. Furthermore, dynamic bundle pricing applies to existing franchise owners, automatically granting an extra loyalty discount for any titles already tied to their account.
Included Games & Next-Gen Upgrades
Mafia: The Omertà Collection features every mainline installment produced to date, complete with fresh technical enhancements for select titles:
- Mafia: Definitive Edition: Upgraded natively for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, delivering a fluid 60 FPS target alongside subtle visual and performance refinements. Existing PS4 and Xbox One digital owners can upgrade at no extra charge, though cross-generation save migrations, achievements, and trophies are not supported.
- Mafia II: Definitive Edition: Includes the remastered base campaign and all standalone add-ons (remains running in legacy backward-compatibility mode without dedicated next-gen enhancements).
- Mafia III: Definitive Edition: Features Lincoln Clay’s full narrative arc alongside all post-launch DLC expansions and weapon packs (standard edition without a native current-gen patch).
- Mafia: The Old Country — Definitive Edition: Designed strictly for modern platforms (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S), this tier bundles the complete base campaign, every Deluxe Edition add-on pack, the brand-new Man of Honor story expansion, an official Digital Art Book, and the complete orchestral soundtrack.
