It’s amazing to me that Washington had 2 years to nail this name change thing, and then they went with #Commanders. It’s like a team you could choose if you were relocating your franchise to Columbus in Madden. And somehow the jerseys are worse than your options in Madden.

“The Washington Football Team” was in my opinion the best major American professional sports team name. Took a while to get used to but it felt right. Then Dan Snyder played franchise mode on Madden and decided to rename his team “The Commanders”. Lmao what an awful name
