Mad King Redemption Reaches Xbox Game Pass

Mad King Redemption released today on Xbox Game Pass. The game combines classic beat ’em up combat, roguelite progression, and pixel art set in a 2.5D world.

The story brings players into the kingdom of the Mad King, who used forbidden magic while trying to resurrect the queen. At some point, he lost control of the forces of life and death and went insane. Heroes must fight through hordes of enemies and free the ruler from his madness.

Four characters are available in the game, each featuring a unique combat style, customizable stats, and personal storylines. Every hero carries their own sins, meaning the theme of redemption applies to more than just the main adversary.

Progression plays a major role. During runs into the forbidden monastery, players unlock new heroes, attacks, and artifacts while randomized elements change every attempt.

Mad King Redemption has already received “very positive” reviews from the community on Steam and is now available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
