Low-Budget Repairs has passed one million Steam wishlists ahead of its demo release. The renovation simulator from Simplicity Games and PlayWay will receive a free demo on July 24, followed by the full PC launch on August 13, 2026.

The game is set in a Polish post-communist neighbourhood in the 1990s. Players take renovation jobs, buy materials and try to finish each apartment while keeping costs as low as possible.

Clean workmanship is optional. Cheap replacements, improvised fixes and deliberately rough results are part of the job, although every shortcut can create a new problem for the client or the player.

The demo will introduce the core repair tools, budgeting system and first contracts before the complete version arrives in August.
