Louis Tomlinson Has His Beyoncé Moment in Quirky New “Lemonade” Music Video

Louis Tomlinson Drops Surreal New Video for “Lemonade”

Following a string of announcements, Louis Tomlinson has released the eccentric music video for “Lemonade” — a playful, slightly off-kilter visual that intentionally nods to the citrus-themed title while charting its own, joyfully strange course.

The clip, published Monday, October 13, 2025, opens with Tomlinson leaning against a car as an overzealous photographer buzzes around him. He drifts into sleep and the narrative dissolves into a feverish daydream: people in full-body yellow suits, a sock puppet that sets up a lemonade stand, scenes among lemon trees, and a whimsical leap into a swimming pool.

Musically, the chorus finds Tomlinson singing, “She’s so bitter, she’s so sweet / Lemonade, lemonade,” a hook that folds cheeky wordplay into a breezy pop melody.

“Lemonade” serves as the lead single from Tomlinson’s forthcoming album, How Did I Get Here?, which is scheduled for release on January 23, 2026. The record will be his third solo LP and is being released alongside plans for a North American tour. Tomlinson also has an upcoming Netflix road-trip docuseries that reunites him with former One Direction bandmate Zayn Malik.

The new album will be the artist’s first full-length project since the death of his former bandmate Liam Payne — a loss Tomlinson has described as deeply painful. In recent interviews he has spoken candidly about how difficult the grieving process has been and how profoundly the loss has affected him.
