Director Mark Jones has passed away at the age of 71, Variety reports.
Born in Los Angeles in 1953, Jones began his professional journey in the animation industry before transitioning into live-action television. He was a credited writer for iconic series such as The A-Team and The Fall Guy.
Jones is best remembered for creating the 1993 cult horror-comedy Leprechaun and for bringing the 1995 cinematic adaptation of Rumpelstiltskin to life.
