Fast Travel

The Battle Bus fast travel system is now available in your world! New Bus Stations are already positioned throughout your world. You can also create custom Bus Stations by dismantling an existing one for Rift Shards, a necessary component.

At each Bus Station, a familiar “Battle Bus” will pick you up and transport you to a destination of your choice. Travel from a Village to your preferred mining spot in mere seconds!

New Enemy Settings

You no longer need to start a new world to tweak your settings! Aside from your mode (Cozy, Survival, Sandbox, Expert) and Player Elimination, all other settings can be modified. A few important notes:

This update does not apply to locked settings in Expert mode.
If you disable Enemies (including Storm-Wild Enemies), current ones will stay until you defeat them or leave the area.
Similarly, disabling Friendly Creatures or Villagers will take effect after you leave the current area.

Prefer to enjoy your game without the hassle of hunger? Disable Hunger! Craving more challenging enemies? Enable Storm-Wild Enemies! Shape your game experience in your existing worlds to your liking.

New Toys

The v30.40 update introduces several new Toys:

Pressure Plate: A button activated by standing on it to operate channels. It needs to remain pressed down to function.
Trigger Plate: Another channel-operating button which does not need to stay pressed.
Activated Balloon Small: A small balloon that inflates via channel control.
Activated Balloon Large: A bigger version of the Activated Balloon Small.

Pirate Lifestyle Bundle

The new Pirate Lifestyle Bundle will be available in the Shop on August 6 for 1,000 V-Bucks. This Bundle includes:

Captain’s Battlement: A LEGO Kit featuring the Captain’s Battlement Build and Planky Favorites Decor Bundle. (800 V-Bucks when bought separately.)
Captain’s Cabin: A Decor Bundle containing 8 indoor decoration items. (300 V-Bucks when bought separately.)
Seaport Style: A Decor Bundle containing 8 outdoor decoration items. (200 V-Bucks when bought separately.)

Track your discoveries in the Codex. Get detailed information on your findings, hints for undiscovered items, and monitor recipes you’re working on. Can you find everything?

Map Improvements

Zoom out further on the world map and pan across your entire world.
When using a controller, a virtual cursor can now be used to navigate the map.
Ping the map to place markers in the world, aiding your travels.

UI Updates

Want to carry more items? The new update expands your inventory to 32 slots!
Filter items in the Build menu by theme or Set for easier searching.
Custom-name your worlds and Villages! Just follow the Epic Games Community Rules while naming.
