Transporting audiences back to the 1990s, the series will chronicle Elle’s formative high school years. The narrative explores the pivotal experiences that molded her character, focusing on her early romances, personal triumphs, and the inevitable setbacks of youth.

Reese Witherspoon, who famously portrayed the character in the original films, returns to the franchise as an executive producer for the project.
The series is scheduled to premiere on July 1, 2026, on Amazon Prime Video.
