The horror film “The Mummy,” directed by Lee Cronin (*Evil Dead Rise*) and produced by Warner Bros., has officially made its digital debut on international streaming platforms.
Following its theatrical release in March, the movie proved to be a commercial success, grossing $89 million against a modest $22 million budget. The narrative centers on a grieving family who lost their daughter in Egypt. Years later, when she unexpectedly reappears, the family is plunged into a series of terrifying, inexplicable events.
The film features performances by Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, Natalie Grace, and May Calamawy, among others. Critical reception has been largely unfavorable, with the film currently holding a 47% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Meanwhile, Warner Bros. is separately developing a reboot of the classic “The Mummy” franchise featuring Brendan Fraser. This fourth installment is slated for release in October 2027.
