They are back, bolder than ever, and ready to dominate the charts. On Sunday (April 12), the powerhouse K-pop quintet LE SSERAFIM officially announced via Weverse the upcoming release of their second studio album, PUREFLOW pt. 1. The project is set for a May 22 debut, with the lead single, “CELEBRATION,” arriving slightly earlier on April 24.
The group first hinted at this new chapter on April 7 with a cryptic social media teaser featuring the hashtag “#TimeToCelebrate.” The mysterious post ignited a frenzy of excitement among fans, with many clamoring for details and echoing the sentiment that the comeback was long overdue.
To accompany the announcement, the group shared an evocative visual clip across their social channels and HYBE’s YouTube platform. The video cycles through the empowering message: “For we are not fearless, and therefore powerful,” before the word “powerful” shifts and morphs into the album title, PUREFLOW.
PUREFLOW serves as the highly anticipated successor to their 2023 studio debut, UNFORGIVEN, and follows their collaborative 2025 single “SPAGHETTI,” which featured BTS’s j-hope. Since their explosive 2022 debut with the EP FEARLESS, LE SSERAFIM has cemented their global status with standout performances at the MTV VMAs, the EMAs, and a high-profile set at Coachella in 2024. The group has also made significant strides on the Billboard 200; while ANTIFRAGILE secured their first entry on the chart peaking at No. 14, UNFORGIVEN catapulted them into the top 10, reaching a career-high No. 6 in May 2023.
