After selling out arenas, winning four trophies at the 2025 VMAs, and releasing a critically acclaimed album, Lady Gaga remains at the pinnacle of her career. Now, she’s shining a spotlight on the person who’s been her constant champion throughout this journey.
On Monday, September 8, Gaga shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, honoring her fiancé, Michael Polansky, for his steadfast support over the past years. “From envisioning this album to mapping every detail and dreaming up what we’d create for the monsters, collaborating with you has been beyond anything I could have imagined,” she wrote, pairing her tribute with intimate photos backstage at the Mayhem Ball and a sunlit desert portrait.
She specifically praised Polansky’s genuine care for her fans. “I adore how deeply you cherish my fans and strive to make them feel valued—it warms my heart to share that love with you each day. You share my passion for ensuring everyone feels seen in this world,” Gaga added.
Beyond being her partner in life, Polansky has also played a pivotal creative role in Gaga’s latest era. Credited as an executive producer on Mayhem—with production on seven of its fourteen tracks—and co-credited alongside Gaga for The Mayhem Ball concerts, he’s helped shape both the album and its live manifestation.
In closing, Gaga lauded Polansky as a “true renaissance man,” reflecting on their shared dedication. “Working side by side from dawn till dusk—bringing music, performances, and plans to fruition with your passion—has made me the luckiest girl alive,” she wrote. “Your creative partnership in art, business, and love is a gift I’ve never known before. You are my artist of the year and the love of my life. Thank you for making all our Mayhem dreams come true.”
For those who missed the initial run of shows, Gaga has announced additional North American dates for The Mayhem Ball in early 2026, revisiting cities she initially bypassed and adding encore performances in both Los Angeles and New York.
