Lady Gaga and Catherine Zeta-Jones Drop Playful Halloween ASMR

When two Oscar-winning stars from Wednesday team up, the result is a mischievous ASMR skit made for Spooky Season.
On October 31, 2025, Netflix shared a short ASMR video on X featuring Lady Gaga and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Set in a moody, Wednesday-inspired room filled with props like wilted roses, a gilt candelabra, a black violin and faux poison, the two stars whisper into a microphone and playfully perform a relaxation-style sketch.
“Because this is Wednesday, we should say darker words — ‘death,’ ‘coffin,’ ‘cemetery,’” Gaga suggests as she gently rubs dead rose petals against the mic. Zeta-Jones then tosses in “Pugsley,” nodding to Wednesday’s brother, and the pair trade theatrical flourishes that culminate in a tongue-in-cheek reference to the classic “Cell Block Tango” refrain from Zeta-Jones’s Oscar-winning turn in Chicago.
Both performers bring their musical pedigrees to the bit: Gaga earned an Academy Award for Best Original Song with “Shallow” from A Star Is Born, while Zeta-Jones won Best Supporting Actress for Chicago in 2002. The clip leans into that shared musical history, with playful callbacks and harmonized whispers that turn the gag into a mini musical moment.
The conversation in the clip also turns to their real-life partners. After Gaga mentions her fiancé Michael Polansky, Zeta-Jones jokes about her husband Michael Douglas, and the two trade flattery and mock-competitive banter about whose “Michael” might be the more charming.
This Halloween vignette comes hot on the heels of Wednesday season 2 and follows Gaga’s cameo as Rosaline Rotwood, which helped spawn “The Dead Dance,” her latest Hot 100 entry. Zeta-Jones is meanwhile attached to upcoming projects such as Cathy Yan’s The Gallerist, while Gaga continues touring through the European leg of her Mayhem Ball Tour.
