Kylie Kelce Skillfully Navigates Inquiries Regarding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Wedding Timeline
The upcoming union of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated cultural milestones of the decade. As the world eagerly awaits a confirmed date, Travis’s sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, is doing her part to keep the couple’s private plans under wraps.
During an appearance on Today this past Friday, the Not Gonna Lie podcaster—who is married to former Philadelphia Eagles icon Jason Kelce—was grilled about whether the pop sensation and the Kansas City Chiefs star are eyeing a 2026 wedding date. Kylie remained remarkably composed under pressure.
“Oh, I honestly don’t know,” she remarked with a sincere shrug when questioned by host Savannah Guthrie.
Despite Guthrie’s lighthearted persistence, Kylie wouldn’t budge, though a knowing smile suggested she knows the value of discretion. “I have no idea,” the former field hockey standout continued, making it clear she has no intention of overstepping or betraying the couple’s trust. Still, she couldn’t hide her joy for the pair, adding, “We’re so excited to celebrate, though. We can’t wait.”
Swift and Kelce originally sent shockwaves through social media when they announced their engagement in August. Their viral Instagram post, which featured candid proposal imagery, was cheekily captioned: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” While the public’s appetite for details has been insatiable, both the 14-time Grammy winner and the NFL veteran have been selective about what they share.
However, Swift has dropped a few hints regarding the festivities. During an October interview on the U.K.’s Hits Radio Breakfast Show, she implied that her close friend Ed Sheeran is a lock for the reception stage. “It would be hard to keep him from it,” she joked. “He’s always being asked to sing at weddings. It’s like, ‘Ed, if there’s a stage, you know that you’ll be on it.’”
