Kylie Kelce Happy Travis Inspired Taylor Swift’s “Wood” — Even If It’s TMI: “Good Job, Trav!”

Kylie Kelce has been enjoying Taylor Swift’s latest collection, The Life of a Showgirl — even when one track gets a little personal in its references to her brother-in-law, Travis Kelce.

On the Oct. 9 episode of her podcast Not Gonna Lie, Kylie raved about the album’s energy and named a few standouts. She singled out “Wi$h Li$t,” “Opalite” and — with a laugh — “Wood” as her favorites, admitting the latter includes lyrics that veer into very candid territory about Travis.

While Kylie acknowledged that some of the song’s imagery is more detail than she personally needed, she still applauded Swift’s confidence. In her words: it might be a bit TMI for family, but it’s also impressive — and, she added, “good job, Trav.”

She supported the singer’s artistic choices, calling the exchange “women supporting women” and expressing genuine pride for Swift’s work.

Kylie isn’t the only Kelce to comment on “Wood.” On a recent episode of New Heights, both Travis and his brother Jason reacted playfully. Travis called it a great song and kept his reaction lighthearted, while Jason joked that the lyrics weren’t just about a person but about a rather specific, unmistakable feature.

Off-air, Kylie said she’s been listening to “Opalite” with her 4-year-old daughter Ellie during school runs, and she declared “Wi$h Li$t” her top track — particularly connecting with a lyric about family and neighborhood life. She joked that the “Kelce genes” run strong, noting with a smile that her and Jason’s children are undeniably cute.

The conversation arrives as Swift prepares to join the Kelce family: she and Travis announced their engagement in August with a playful social post. For now, though, Swift’s focus appears to remain on promoting the new album — which has moved millions of copies and set new markers for opening-week performance in the modern era.
