Kylie Jenner Reveals a Lifelong Aspiration to Make Pop Music After Debut Single
Published:

Kylie Jenner surprised many this week by releasing her first single, a collaboration with Terror Jr. titled “Fourth Strike.” The beauty entrepreneur says the move represents a long-held personal ambition to try her hand at pop music.
In a video posted on , Jenner explained that performing and recording have been aspirations since childhood. She admitted nerves in the studio were real, but also that she decided to push past them and give the project a chance.
Jenner even joked about calming her nerves with a couple of drinks before her first session. The new track — released — credits her under the alter ego “King Kylie,” a nod to the persona she popularized around 2016.
Musically, “Fourth Strike” leans into electro-pop textures and a catchy, repetition-driven chorus. The single follows years of speculation that she had contributed vocals to Terror Jr. material in the past; this release makes the collaboration official.
Reflecting on her ambitions, Jenner said she doesn’t expect to instantly match powerhouse vocalists, but she is excited to keep exploring music. She expressed interest in continuing beyond a single — even musing about the possibility of an album.
