Kunimitsu Joins Tekken 8 in June, Gameplay Trailer Released

Following the initial announcement of the Tekken 8 Season 3 character lineup back in February—which confirmed the inclusion of Kunimitsu, Bob, and Roger Jr.—fans finally have their first look at gameplay for the returning kunoichi. Along with this thrilling showcase, developers have officially slated her arrival for early June.
A staple of the franchise, Kunimitsu made her debut in the original Tekken and returned for its sequel before largely disappearing from the main series, relegated instead to the non-canon Tag Tournament titles. However, the legacy continued in Tekken 7 with her daughter, known as Kunimitsu II, who now makes her triumphant return in Tekken 8. The latest footage highlights her signature fox mask and lethal, ninjutsu-focused combat style, making her an essential addition for players who favor technical, high-speed aggression.
Kunimitsu joins the fray on June 1. While she will follow the standard DLC pricing model of $7.99, players eager to master her techniques early can jump in starting May 27. Those who have purchased the Season 3 Pass will gain immediate access to the character upon her early access launch.
