Konami Flaunts a Flurry of High Scores in Praise-Laden Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Trailer
After many years of quiet on the console front, Konami has made a definite return to the industry — and the results show it was well worth the wait.
Konami has staged another show of triumph. The publisher released a trailer highlighting the highest praise received by Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The Japanese powerhouse clearly seems to be back in form.
The company wanted to remind audiences how critics reacted to the game. In August it collected a wave of enthusiastic reviews and earned 10/10 scores from Digital Spy, GamingBolt, Niche Gamer, Gfinity, and Gaming Age. The game’s OpenCritic average sits at 8.5 out of 10.
On Steam the remake of the 2004 title has been warmly received as well: users have given it an 84% approval rating.
Konami clearly isn’t planning to stop. The company is already asking fans which Metal Gear entry should be revived next. It looks like the series will return again — and perhaps more than once.
