Kim Kardashian Names BLACKPINK’s Lisa as Her Dream Collaborator and Reveals She Asks Travis Scott for Sneaker Favors
Kim Kardashian Discusses Scoring Travis Scott’s Exclusive Nikes and Her “Dream” Collaboration With BLACKPINK’s Lisa
Even for a global icon like Kim Kardashian, securing the world’s most exclusive footwear sometimes requires a well-placed phone call. The Skims mogul recently sat down with Joe La Puma for the latest episode of Complex’s Sneaker Shopping, where she shared insights into her personal collection, her family connections to the sneaker world, and her latest venture with Nike.
Kardashian, who describes herself as a “sneaker snob” with a very selective taste in silhouettes, admitted that her closet is dominated by Travis Scott’s Nike collaborations. Given that Scott shares two children with Kim’s sister, Kylie Jenner, the reality star has a direct line to the source. While she usually avoids asking for professional favors from family, she confessed that some releases are simply too good to pass up.
“I’d say the majority of my collection consists of Travis’ designs. I have every colorway, including the new pink versions,” Kardashian revealed. “I’m not typically the girl to call in family favors—I just don’t do it—but I had to make the call to secure those Travis pinks. I reached out, and they just showed up.”
The “pinks” in question refer to the highly anticipated Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Pink Pack,” which sneaker enthusiasts expect to see on retail shelves this coming May.

Kardashian is also transitioning from a collector to a creator. Her Skims x Nike Rift Mesh collaboration was recently unveiled and is scheduled for a global launch on February 5. To represent the new line, Kim looked toward the world of K-pop, securing BLACKPINK’s Lisa as the face of the NikeSKIMS Spring ’26 Collection.
“We managed to land my dream person, Lisa from BLACKPINK,” Kardashian said enthusiastically. “She’s an incredible dancer, she’s stunning, and her talent is unmatched. I’ve always admired her style, and we were able to shoot the campaign in a gorgeous space in Paris.”
Kim highlighted a specific creative choice in the campaign that featured Lisa transitioning between black and pink aesthetics. “She shifts from wearing all black to dipping down and emerging in all pink. Using those two signature colorways with Lisa was just a very clever, perfect fit,” she explained.
The ballerina-inspired NikeSKIMS collection focuses on the Rift Satin silhouette, blending high-performance sportswear with the minimalist, tonal aesthetic Skims is known for.
