Kelly Clarkson Recalls Fiery Reply to Manager Who Told Her to Get a Boob Job: “Why Don’t You Get a Dick Job?”

Onstage during one of her Studio Sessions shows at Caesars Palace over the weekend, Kelly Clarkson confronted the ongoing pressure women face about their appearances — and urged the industry to stop policing bodies.

While adjusting a deep V-neck top mid-performance, Clarkson recalled a past encounter with someone in the business who suggested she get breast augmentation. She described the memory with incredulity, saying a former manager once told her to “get a boob job,” and responded with blunt humor about being content with her smaller chest.

“I’m fine with my itty bitty titties — get out of here,” Clarkson quipped, turning an uncomfortable anecdote into a laugh with the audience.

She went on to criticize how normalized commentary about others’ bodies has become in entertainment. With a mix of sarcasm and exasperation, Clarkson compared today’s extreme aesthetic trends to costuming from The Capitol in The Hunger Games, and urged people to accept aging gracefully: “Just get old. Be glad — not everybody gets to get old.”

Clarkson has long been candid about body image. In April 2024 she revealed on The Kelly Clarkson Show that, after a pre-diabetes diagnosis, she took medication to help with weight loss. She said watching a recording of herself performing made her do a double-take and sparked a new awareness of her own appearance.

Her Studio Sessions residency has a short run remaining this year: two shows scheduled for November 14 and 15, 2025. Earlier in the year she canceled dates following the death of Brandon Blackstock, her ex-husband and the father of her children; she later announced additional residency dates for July and August 2026.

Offstage, Clarkson remains active in television — in September she launched the seventh season of her daytime talk show.
